Overview

A Housekeeper at our Executive Inn serves our guests by keeping guest rooms clean and orderly while creating a hospitable and ‘People Pleasing’ environment.

Essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensures assigned block of guest rooms are cleaned and stocked according to Cracker Barrel standards
  • Accommodates guests by providing excellent customer service
  • Meets company standards of safety, quality, production, attendance and workplace behavior while efficiently completing daily room assignments
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace
  • Follows Executive Inn operational policies and procedures, including those for safety and security, to ensure the safety of all associates and visitors throughout the day
  • Maintains the “Pleasing People” mission by following Cracker Barrel Rules of Conduct
  • Maintains a calm and pleasant demeanor throughout shift to ensure a positive employee/guest experience
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance

Responsibility

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends and/or holidays
  • Meet Executive Inn operating and hospitality policies of safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Available to perform various different tasks throughout the Executive Inn during each shift

Qualifications

  • Be able to communicate with coworkers, managers and guests effectively
  • Stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Load, lift carry and unload items up to 30 pounds
  • Work at a pace consistent with changing business volume and demands
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to work in environment where tobacco smoke is present
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Make decisions and solve problems in the interest of 100% Guest Satisfaction policy
